Meet Our Team

- Bhavik PatelDirector / Residential Care ManagerBhavik PatelDirector / Residential Care ManagerDuring my teens and early twenties I was living on the edge – I had two jobs – one was in a well known American restaurant causing chaos (fun chaos of course) and the other was at Gatwick Airport in a position of significant importance. In 2005 I graduated with a Ba (Hons) in Marketing and then embarked on a life changing experience to Melbourne, Australia where I had my break through. I began my career in Sales and then worked in Marketing for one of the biggest Solar Energy organisation in Australia. I was privileged to meet a vast array of people and one of the best memories of this experience was sitting around a dinner table with 16 people all of who were from a different country – apart from Prime Ministers and Presidents and United Nations can anyone else say the same? I returned back to the UK in 2010, married my long term girlfriend and was then approached by a solar energy organisation based Sweden to spearhead their project. However, my late father’s dream took priority and a dream that I do not regret in the slightest bit… My family are my world – Holmesdale House is a part of my family, we live the dream and if there is a nightmare – it’s a beautiful one!
- Heeral PatelDirector / Operations ManagerHeeral PatelDirector / Operations ManagerI consider myself one of the lucky ones who at a young age has found a vocation that she was born and meant to do. I often ask myself why I wasn’t doing this sooner. Academically I went ‘all the way’, I graduated in 2001 in LLb Business Law, I continued with further education in International Contract Negotiation. In 2003 I joined a successful Financial Services company as a Paraplanner and went on to achieve my Certificate in Financial Planning. In 2012, myself and my brother set out to make our late father’s dream come true and start living the dream, his dream which is now ours to be lived and yours to experience. My favoured lifestyle choices include cooking and baking for my residents and my family and travelling whenever I can. This varies from Miami to Torquay to Auckland. I love the sights and smells of the array of countries that I have visited; the highlight of my travels has been meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. One of things I love about going away is the knowing that I’ll be coming back to Holmesdale House. I am grateful that I have had a varied and fulfilled past and I look forward to what lies when we continue to live the dream.
- DeniseSupport WorkerDeniseSupport WorkerI moved to East Sussex in 1996. In 1998 I began my journey into the care industry when I joined the Conquest Hospital. After gaining care experience at the Conquest Hospital I continued to grow on my knowledge through working in the Mental Health Sector for approximately 19 years. I have since achieved a L2 in Health & Social care and L3 which was completed in spring 2018. As a child, I travelled a lot as my father was in the armed forces and spent a lot of time in Cyprus and Germany, where I was fortunate to learn and speak basic German. I love working in the care industry and this allows me to make a difference in people’s lives which I am passionate about. It brings me a beautiful satisfaction just to know I have supported/assisted someone and delivered a smile to them. I enjoy spending time with my husband who I married in October 2017 and I have always loved gardening as I find it rewarding watching nature taking its course and watching plants grow, thrive and bring colour to us.
